2017 Let's Think Conference

The University of St John’s @ York will host the 2017 Let’s Think Conference on the 7th July. The 2017 conference is aimed at teachers and schools new to Let’s Think.

This conference is for primary and secondary schools seeking to develop their pupils’ reasoning skills in English, mathematics and science. Workshops include a range of practical strategies and activities to support the development of reasoning skills including metacognition and critical thinking, all drawing on best practice from research.

The Let’s Think approach is built upon the work first began by Michael Shayer, Philip Adey and Carolyn Yates as CASE or Thinking Science. CAME soon followed and the approach then moved into the primary phase and now is active within English. If you wish to bring this approach into your school then this is the conference for you.

If you would like to find out more about the 2017 Conference please email us: info@letsthink.org.uk

The cost of the 2017 Conference is £100 and places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
